Festive Party Night Breaks

For a great pre-Christmas break there's no better place to come than Tinto House Hotel . A 2 night break includes...Full Scottish Breakfast, Table D’hote Dinner on Friday, Pre-dinner complimentary Cocktail on Saturday, Festive Tribute Party Night on Saturday with dinner, tribute act & disco. Late breakfast and check-out on Sunday.

Christmas Package

Tinto House can create the perfect atmosphere to help you celebrate this special of days. A sumptuous 4 course Christmas lunch will be served so you can enjoy all the delights of the day without having to do any of the work!

Day 1, 24th Dec (Christmas Eve)

Welcome! Enjoy tea/coffee & mince pies in the lounge while your luggage is taken to your room.

Meet old friends and make some new ones at our candlelit 'Sherry & Canapés Reception' in the bar before dinner. After dinner in the restaurant, local carol singers will be on hand to provide the perfect musical interlude (Church midnight service times will be available should you require them)

Day 2, 25th Dec (Christmas Day)

After a glass of Bucks Fizz with breakfast, why not take a stroll in the countryside to work up an appetite?
A truly traditional Christmas lunch will be served in the Ballroom festooned with crackers, mistletoe and paper hats, all ensuring the perfect party atmosphere.  After lunch, tea/coffee and mince pies will be served in the lounge with quizzes, games and brainteasers to keep the festivities going. Dinner in the evening is a Grand Buffet, followed by entertainment in the Ballroom. All in all, a day to remember.

Day 3, 26th Dec (Boxing Day)

Start the day with a hearty Scottish breakfast before spending the morning exploring the local area. Relax in the Lounge Bar and enjoy tea/coffee, sandwiches and Christmas cake around 4pm. In the evening, following another delicious dinner, entertainment will be provided by our resident ceilidh band.

Day 4, 27th Dec

After a hearty breakfast we bid you a fond farewell and hope it won't be too long before we see you again!

Betwixtmas (27-29 Dec)

Chill-out after a hectic Christmas before revving up for New Year, with our 2 or 3 night Betwixtmas Breaks. Includes accommodation, three-course table d'hote dinner & evening entertainment.

New Year Residential Package (30 Dec - 1 Jan)

Our Hogmanay celebrations cover everything from pipers & highland dancers to champagne & celebrations at the bells to welcome in the New Year!

Day 1, 30th Dec

Unwind and let us look after you! Enjoy tea/coffee and scones in the lounge while your luggage is taken to your room. After a complimentary pre-dinner free drink in the bar, enjoy a fantastic, relaxing dinner in the restaurant between 6.30 and 9pm.

Day 2, 31st Dec (Hogmanay)

After a hearty Scottish breakfast served in the restaurant, why not take a stroll around the gardens or take a trip into Biggar or New Lanark? The fresh air will get you ready for a light lunch at 12.30pm and afternoon tea at 3.30pm. Drinks and canapés will be served in the bar lounge from 6.30pm before our Grand Hogmany Gala Dinner in the Ballroom at 7.30pm.

As well as fantastic food, the entertainment will take the form of a traditional Highland cabaret. Welcome in the New Year with a wee dram as you dance your way into the wee small hours. Tea/coffee & stovies will be served in the bar lounge at 1am to help you keep the party going.

Day 3, 1st Jan

After a well deserved and much needed lie-in you can savour a leisurely brunch and glass of Bucks Fizz in the restaurant between 9am and 2pm. Then join the Tinto House Treasure Hunt from 2pm - an entertaining way to spend the first day of the year. Afternoon tea follows at 3.30 then - if you can face it! - there will be a Whisky Tasting at 4pm. You can enjoy another great evening at our Dinner Dance from 7.30pm.

• Superior bedrooms £459.00pp (under 16's £99).

Please note a non-returnable deposit of £100 is required per person at the time of booking. Full payment is due by 30th November 2010.
